Apart from young plants for ornamental plant cultivation, Beekenkamp also supplies young plants for vegetable growers and our sister company Deliflor supplies cuttings for cut chrysanthemum growers.
New facilities
Over the last two years, the Beekenkamp group has constructed 15 hectares of new state of the art greenhouses in Maasdijk (NL). These facilities include all the latest innovations in production rooms, internal transport and methods for sowing and selection, as required for top quality production. This addition has resulted in our total greenhouse area in Europe increasing to 32 hectares.
In Ethiopia, we constructed 7 hectares of new greenhouses for the production of cuttings, which has resulted in a total surface area of 25 hectares in Africa. Top quality, tailor-made production and perfect service are all part of our core activity. Our production takes place within strict quality control systems: ISO (International Organization for Standardization) EuroGap and MPS (environmental certification program in horticulture).
Top quality: we first test seeds, cuttings, potting compost, etc, in order to enable application of the correct precision seeders and climate settings, allowing for the strictest hygiene requirements and responsible crop protection.
Made-to-measure production: we are only too pleased to take up challenges concerning the customer’s specific plant requirements, such as for example plug size, number of plants per plug, plant size and so on.
Perfect service: short communication lines with our in-house sales service and transport department as well as our own fleet of 23 conditioned trucks ensure punctual and dependable delivery.
