Advantages for the Grower
Hypearl is durable and the starting material is readily available (from week 10 to 20). For growers, Hypearl has the advantage that it is a simple outdoor culture. Energy and growth regulators or chemicals are not required. The Hypearls are genetically compact and branch well. They are rust tolerant, which guarantees much less dropout during the production period and excellent quality. The Hypearl series is easy to transport, demonstrably strong and has a good shelf life. Hypearl more than meets all demands made by the trade and the green department store as well as by consumers.
Advantages for the consumer
Few plants have so much to offer in the way of versatility and possibilities for adding atmosphere to the garden as the Hypearl. The consumer can use it in borders, pots or on patios in mixed containers. It being available in a dwarf type means that it is also well suited to smaller gardens or balconies. In late summer, the Hypearl produces fantastically beautiful yellow flowers that next develop into berries. These sturdy berries were selected on their
non-perishability and provide colour to the garden well into October. The Hypearl is fully hardy and flowers from June onwards. In winter, it sheds its leaves. In March/April, the branches can be cut back hard to 5-10 cm above ground level.
